About Patrick

Patrick Cermak was born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago, where golf has been a central part of his life from an early age. Competing nationally as a junior golfer, Patrick quickly established himself as a high-level player.

He went on to play NCAA Division I golf at the University of Toledo, where he was a four-year letter winner and earned his degree in Communications. During his collegiate career, Patrick competed at the highest national levels, highlighted by qualifying for the 2012 United States Amateur Championship at Cherry Hills Country Club.

Patrick comes from a highly accomplished golf family. Instilled with a strong work ethic and passion for the game by his parents, he and his three older brothers all played NCAA Division I golf. Joseph (Iowa State), Matthew (Missouri State), and Michael (Toledo) who were each four-year letter winners. His brother Joseph went on to play professionally, including on the Canadian Tour.

With experience having been taught by some of the top instructors in the game including Jon Reese and Andrew Emery, Patrick has developed a deep understanding of every facet of golf. His students value his ability to clearly communicate and tailor instruction to each individual player. Patrick emphasizes sound, repeatable fundamentals while also teaching course strategy, the mental side of the game, short-game excellence, and scoring skills.

Patrick is excited to continue teaching and sharing his passion for the game at the outstanding facilities at Pine Meadow Golf Club, helping golfers of all levels elevate their performance.
